Why we need you

Omise is hiring a Transaction and Merchant Analyst . The Analyst is expected to use his / her reporting & analytical skills and business knowledge to review and investigate alerts and suspicious payment as well as system usage behaviours. The successful candidate will communicate with both merchants and other teams to determine truth over suspicion and work towards reducing the chance of future suspicious transactions.

What you will do

  • Ensure high level of data analysis and investigation to identify transaction or system usage patterns that may be related to money laundering, indicate that something is fishy or against policy, rules or regulations.
  • Support and advice on development of internal tools for better detection and alerting of suspicious activity.
  • Reach out to merchants and work with other Omise teams to reduce risk of suspicious activities.

Who you are

  • Minimum bachelor degree in related with an analytical field
  • Minimum 0 - 1 year of experience in analytical tasks and responsibilities
  • Good communication skills both in English and Thai
  • Ability to ask the right questions and dig for answers
  • Attention to details
  • SQL knowledge is desirable but not mandatory
  • Strong interest in Fintech and Technology
  • Good team members but also a single contributor
